Baltimore – 61 Year old beaten in near fatal attack by gang of teens (video)

Dundalk, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore – On April 22, Richard Fletcher was watching out his window when he saw a couple of teenage girls fighting on top of his truck. He went outside to tell them to move on and fight elsewhere.  At that point, a gang of approximately 50 teens attacked him until he feel to the ground, and they continued to kick and beat him after he fell. He nearly died from the injuries they inflicted.

Though it happened on April 22, only recently has his story emerged. Richard ended up in the hospital with 2 broken eye sockets, a broken nose, broken ribs, and a brain bleed.

17 year old Antoine Lawson has been arrested and will be tried as an adult for Attempted Murder. A 15 year old girl has also been arrested. Police are looking for the other teens involved in the attack, and plan to make more arrests.

“It has gotten out of hand now, gone too far…The kids walk on top of cars, kick dogs, let dogs out, throw trash, steal milk from school and throw it at houses, threaten neighbors with bodily harm.” Joe Lamb, neighbor and witness to the attack.

Neighbors who saw the attack are now afraid. The teens allegedly go to nearby Baltimore Community High School, and are in their yards, cutting through the neighborhood on a regular basis.

Mr. Fletcher is now out of the hospital, recovering from his injuries. But the bills are estimated to be between $200,000 and $400,000. The Harbor View Neighborhood Association has set up a GoFundMe page to help with the expenses. He has a “long road to recovery” and will be in need of several more surgeries to repair the damage.

Yes, America, these are thugs…any way you look at it.
