Naperville RibFest Refuses to Dump Toby Keith from Performers Line Up

Naperville, Illinois- Toby Keith performed at the Inauguration of President Trump. Apparently that’s the same thing as killing children with a machine gun to liberals. They’ve been pressuring the Naperville RibFest organizers to dump him from their lineup of performers. The RibFest told them no. Very professionally, I might add.

Take a Hike, Lefties

The Naperville Exchange Club negotiated the performers previously. They are keeping him in the lineup, regardless of the pressure.

According to the Chicago Tribune,

“Ribfest talent is negotiated and selected months in advance of the event,” the Facebook post read. “At no time does the Exchange Club of Naperville make any political statement or endorsement. At no time are artists booked based on their political beliefs or actions.”

The post also said any Facebook post added to their page that is “politically charged or not focused on Ribfest will be removed.”

Naperville resident Pamela Mikulcik criticized the Exchange Club for removing her Facebook comment and said the nonprofit organization should allow people to voice their opinions on the event.

Frankly, Pamela Mikulcik, you should keep your opinions to your own Facebook page and not be nasty to everyone on a public venue.

As usual, some of the more nasty tweets from that issue were deleted.

At issue for these left-wing con artists are the lyrics to one of his songs done with Willie Nelson called “Beer for My Horses” that they feel talks about lynching. That song has been under attack since the day it was released after one person wrote a blog calling the song- and Toby Keith “racist.” The lyrics actually appear to be about the Old West, and the punishment for evildoers.

“The song was a hit and the words ‘lynch’ and ‘racism’ has never come up until this moron wrote this blog.” Toby Keith August 8, 2008

Never mind the facts. They’ll rail against him for everything he does because he’s pro-military, pro-America. He refused to apologize for singing for the Inauguration saying he was honored to sing for our country and military. He is not a Trump supporter, nor is he Democrat or Republican. He’s just American.
