Patriot takes down Chinese flag with help of a Washington trooper
When Jay Inslee, the Governor of the state of Washington, decided to meet with Chinese Ambassador Cui Tiankai, the Chinese flag was placed at equal height in between the American flag and the Washington State Flag. A video taken on that day revealed that the flag’s presence did not sit well with a small group of Americans – one of whom took it upon himself to take the Communist Flag down. And he did it with the assistance of an officer from the Washington State Patrol.
The Chinese flag was prominently displayed in front of the Washington state capital in Olympia. When a small group of protesters showed up, an unidentified WSP trooper appeared to assist and support the flag being taken down.
“That’s an officer I can support,” one person stated as the video unfolded. Cheers from the crowd erupted as the flag was removed from the pole in front of the building. As the video was shared, comments even suggested that Governor Inslee resign over the blunder.
Joe Newby at The Examiner reported,
According to the flag code, “no other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church services for the personnel of the Navy.” Additionally, the code says that flags of the United Nations or other national or international flags shall not be placed “equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States…”
While it’s not likely that the Governor will resign over the matter, we should all be aware of the liberal influence that makes flying foreign flags more important than our own. Anyone who is involved in politics should have a deep respect for the American flag- if they do not, then they are headed for confrontation. If they want to fly Communist flags, take Joe’s advice and “fly them elsewhere.”
As to the WSP Trooper in the video- thank you. You are a true oathkeeper.
