Polite Bank robber posts his deed on Social Media

Virginia Beach, Virginia – Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca, 23, robbed the Towne Bank in Virginia Beach, even recorded the event and posted it on Instagram.  But he says he’s not guilty of bank robbery because he “asked politely” and the teller “gave” him the money.  Well, maybe not, buddy.

“I decided to go to the bank… She gave me money. I left.”

Alfonseca robbed the bank, recorded the robbery on his cell phone and posted it on Instagram. Then he marched out the door with a duffel bag full of money.  He took  a photo of the note and posted it on Instagram to prove that he robbed the bank “politely.” The note read,

“I need 150,000 Bands Right NOW!! Please Police take 3 to 4 minites to get here, I would appriceate if you Ring the alarm a minute after I am gone… Make sure the money doesn’t BLOW UP ON MY WAY OUT.”

Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca – note the demeanor change – screenshots, WAVY interview

He says he believes he didn’t do anything wrong and will be found not guilty because he was nice.
In an interview with WAVY news report Jason Marks, Alfonseca explains

“A robbery is going in and demanding something and taking the money. I didn’t do that.”

Mr. Alfonseca  says he’s a “rapper” and the bottom line (besides being terrifically delusional) is that he might receive “exposure” for the stunt. But note the rapid demeanor change in the above screenshots from the WAVY interview- he goes from jovial to downright demented.

Jason Marks, the interviewer, noted that he was disconnected from reality and in many cases didn’t give him a straight answer.

Alfonseca will get his chance to declare his innocence on June 12. It’s not likely the court or the police will take his claim that being polite is the way to get money…especially when it wasn’t his in the first place.
