President Obama and the Anger of America

The Marines are angry. Most Americans are angry. We are experiencing the worst division since the Civil War, and people are about to boil over. We have a President who  a) failed to put the White House flags at half-staff in honor of our Military members murdered, and b) ran off to a fundraiser this weekend instead of comforting the citizens over a terror attack on their own soil in Chattanooga.

He issued a bland statement about a “heartbreaking situation” and  a thorough investigation to find out what exactly happened. Duh, like they wouldn’t have done that anyway. Then he flew off to his fundraiser.

USMC anger

The Marines’ anger at Islamists for the attacks in Chattanooga was expressed well by Marine Sergeant Jeremy Knauff:

When you attacked those four Marines, you got the attention of every one of our 186,800 active duty Marines, along with every Marine who ever served…You just stirred up hate, discontent, and malice within a group of people who relish the idea of engaging the enemy…there is something you obviously don’t yet know about Marines…

The brotherhood we share is stronger than the challenges we face, the weapons we master, or the enemies we destroy.

You will learn that soon though. US Marine Sergeant Jeremy Knauff

Did Obama create the atmosphere in which the attack took place? Down deep was it his fault?  Was it his desire to placate Islamic terrorists that set the stage for the attacks?

Just a “Lone gunman”

Rather than calling it what it is- an act of Islamic terrorism- government officials continually refer to these attacks as just a “lone gunman.” Even though ISIS has called for lone wolf attacks over the last year on a continual basis. They are Islamic terrorists, they are not just “lone gunmen.” They are attackers fueled by Islamic rage against America.

The Gun-free zone policy

Under Obama’s Presidency, there have been 34 military service members killed and 54 wounded in gun-free zones. And that doesn’t seem to matter because the government thinks the military is so bumbling that they will shoot each other all the time if they are armed on base. According to Stripes:

“I think we have to be careful about over-arming ourselves, and I’m not talking about where you end up attacking each other… it’s more about “accidental discharges and everything else that goes along with having weapons that are loaded that causes injuries.” Army Gen Ray Odierno

An accidental injury is more serious than deliberate murder? Be careful about “over-arming ourselves?” We are under attack, General. There has to be balance- a balance that protects our service members AND our citizens.

Though the policy of no weapons on base has been around for a while under several presidents, the number of military members killed and wounded since Obama took office is appalling.

What is the real mindset?

Is it just a liberal mindset that believes men and woman trained to use weapons can’t do it right… or a pro-terrorist mindset that believes Islam should conquer the world? They both go hand in hand. Remember what he said, and think about it.

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” Barack Obama 2012

From the burgeoning race war, to the attack of Islamic terrorists, to the placating of our enemies by our own President, America is under siege. The question is not what can we do, but will we do it?
